Research on Hammerhead Wear Resistant of Hammer Crusher

Release Date: 2016-11-22 Click times: 138 Edited by: admin
After a long time using of hammer crusher, every of their parts would get wore, then it would reduce its using performance. We introduced something such as its texture, heat dealing in making hammer crusher that has some connection with its wear resistant.

    1. The Steel Selection in Making Hammerhead

    High Manganese Steel Hammerhead
High manganese steel is the major material in making hammerhead, which is added chemical element manganese and its content of Mn reaches about 15%-19%. These can reduce its austenite stability, make them create many tiny second phase particles, which resistant its dislocation motion and strengthen its matrix to make them have high flexibility and strength and fine wear-resistant ability.
    Composite Material Hammerhead
The new hammer crusher’s hammerhead now not only add into manganese, but other chemical elements as chromium, molybdenum, vanadium, nitrogen, rare earth, which are available in the intensive impact working condition and hugely improved their using life to about one times.

   2. The Manufacturing Technology of Hammerhead

Now we have two manufacture technologies forging and casting of hammerhead. As to forging, it refers to press the metal ingredients by using of forging machinery to get some machine performance into flexibility. This is the early age producing method to eliminate their disadvantages.
As to casting, it refers to refine metal and then casting by pull the liquid metal into model and form into the expectation shape after cooling and setting. It is more complicated than forging, but it can greatly improve its wear-resistant and using life.

   3. Wear-Resistant Testing of Hammer Crusher

The most important processes in making hammerhead are heating handle. It mainly uses pretreatment to improve its hardness and flexibility by heat treatment. Thus many companies focus on how to improve its producing process. The follows are our detailed experiment.
In composite casting, if it doesn’t reach to the heat and the heat between handle and head is so different that would have crack. But after improving its technology, the handle’s heat can reach to 400-800 degree and make them don’t have crack.
In the process of heat treatment, we handle the finished machines and improve the heat to over 1000 degree to let them get fully austenite and then give a high degree tempering. This can make hammerhead get more hard, vice versa.
By research on it manufacture technology and wear-resistant testing; composite material hammerhead has the advantages in wear resistant. Hence, there are over 80%-90% customers are apt to choose composite material hammerhead and have a more extensive future, especially after getting improved in heat treatment.
