Motor Selection Introduction

Motor plays a virtual role in motivating machine working. Many motors are needed for a whole set gravel aggregates production line. With the effect of motor, the relevant using knowledge should be acquired for higher machine efficiency and perfect match.

Motor power refers to the max power within normal operation and rated voltage. Under correct operating, there will be output machine power which is expressed with KW.

Motor broken condition introduction. Power consumption changes with operating quantity and times. Also, please do not have a long-time continuing operation in case of breaking motor.

High-voltage motor refers to rated voltage more than 1000V. It is defined by the number of motor power changing with product of voltage and current. High efficiency, strong impacting bearing are the advantages and large inertance and hard launching and braking are the disadvantages.

Low-voltage motor with less than 1000V alternating voltage has advantages of simple structure, wide application, easy isolation, and convenient maintenance.

Motor selection principle: machine condition, motor type, and rated voltage should be determined by performance demand, power source condition, and rotating speed.

Precaution: loading and torque are needed for motor. In operation, motor shouldn’t be more than working temperature and should have some over-loading ability for normal operation.
