Working Principle of XJS200 Cone Crusher

The XJS200 cone crusher operates based on a set of mechanical principles. It consists of key components such as a main shaft, mantle, concave, and eccentric. When the crusher is started, the power from the motor drives the eccentric to rotate. This rotation of the eccentric causes the mantle to perform a gyrating motion within the concave.

For the different crushing cavity settings like ultra-coarse (BC), coarse (C), medium (M), fine (F), and extra-fine (EF), the distance between the mantle and concave is adjusted accordingly. In the coarse crushing mode, with a larger feed opening such as 185mm for the coarse cavity, large pieces of material can enter. As the mantle gyrates, the material is squeezed and crushed between the mantle and concave. The crushing force is generated by the movement of the mantle, which subjects the material to both compressive and frictional forces.

In the medium crushing mode with a feed opening of 125mm, the material is further refined. The finer cavities like the fine with a feed opening of 95mm and the extra-fine with an even smaller feed opening continue to reduce the particle size of the material. The eccentric rotation speed and the design of the crushing cavity work together to ensure that the material is broken down to the desired size range. The crusher also has a power consumption range of 132 - 200 kilowatts, which is related to the intensity of the crushing operation and the size reduction achieved. Overall, the XJS200 cone crusher is able to handle a wide range of feed sizes and produce variously sized crushed products depending on the cavity configuration, providing efficient crushing solutions in many industrial applications.
