The cone crusher is a very important and popular crushing equipment, which occupies a key position in the ore crushing and processing link. It is widely used in the market due to its significant advantages such as high output, stable performance and long service life. In the daily operation of the cone crusher, the adjustment of the discharge port is one of the key factors affecting the output. It is crucial for the operator to master the method of adjusting the size of the discharge port to ensure the smooth progress of production. The following are the specific adjustment methods and related precautions.
The adjustment of the discharge port of the cone crusher is mainly realized by using the serrated thread between the adjustment ring and the support sleeve to raise and lower the fixed cone liner, thereby changing the size of the discharge port. The operator first connects the surrounding springs and the machine body tightly through the support sleeve. Since the support sleeve has a serrated thread, the adjustment ring of the fixed umbrella plate can be screwed into it. By rotating the adjustment ring, the fixed umbrella plate can rise or fall in the height direction, so as to accurately adjust the size of the discharge port.
The operator should pay special attention during the adjustment that the size of the discharge port should not be smaller than the specified size. If the thread is clogged or other situations occur, it will cause difficulty in rotating the adjustment ring. At this time, lubricating oil can be added for lubrication. If there is no lubricating oil, a small amount of ore can be discharged from the cone crusher first, and then the adjustment ring can be rotated.
After the adjustment of the discharge port is completed, an accurate inspection is required. The operator can use a wire tied with a lead ball to measure the size of the discharge port. The specific operation is to first lift the adjustment ring, turn the equipment and put the lead ball into the crushing chamber, and then measure at four opposite positions along the circumference of the crushing chamber to judge whether the adjustment of the discharge port is accurate. After confirming that the size of the adjusted discharge port meets the requirements, the adjustment ring must be locked with a locking cylinder, and then the cone crusher can be restarted to ensure that the equipment can operate stably and efficiently after the adjustment and provide stone products that meet the requirements for production.
