Main Parts of Jaw Crusher
Jaw crusher mainly consists of machine body, jaw plate, eccentric spindle, flywheel, adjustable device, and lubrication device.
1. Machine bracket
Machine bracket refers to four walls with open mouth designing to support reaction force of crushing material that should have enough strength and force made with high quality steel. As to huge machine bracket, it is made by multi-stage and then connected with bolts. While small machine bracket is made by welding that has worse strength.
2. Jaw plate & side plate
Mobile and fixed jaw consists of jaw plate and jaw bed, which jaw plate works and fixes on the jaw bed. Jaw bed places on the front of fixed jaw and on the top of mobile jaw that should have enough strength and force for crushing force with welding steel or iron.
3. Rotating parts
As the main spindle of crusher, eccentric spindle should uphold huge force with high coal and steel material. As to the eccentric parts, it should be made with finishing machining, heat handle, bearing lining with Babbit pouring, and v-belt wheel and flywheel on each side.
4. Adjusting device
There is wedge type, pad type, and hydraulic type machines. Wedge machine consists of two wedges that move with front wedge pushing plate, and back wedge for adjusting. These two wedges incline to each other to adjust discharging size. And small jaw crusher can adjust its discharging opening with forcing bracket and the number of gasket.
5. Flywheel
Flywheel of jaw crusher stores energy of mobile jaw that is widely used in industry construction with average working. Band pulley also has the function of flywheel that is made by iron and steel and installed with static balance.
6. Lubrication device
Eccentric spindle bearing often adopts concentrated lubrication and central spindled, and toggle plate usually adopts manual lubrication. With small mobile jaw angle, central spindle and bush, it has complex lubrication that it often has many axial oil groove and oil tank in the middle for connection and adding butter for lubrication with oil pump.
