Jaw crusher is a kind of crushing equipment commonly used in the mining industry. With gradual increase of temperature, the staffs who operate the jaw crusher equipment will become upset; however, a bit of negligence will result in failure of the crusher machine. In the following, we would like to share five tips on how to properly operate the jaw crusher so as to avoid damage against the equipment.

1. During the operation process, the screws of the internal parts will get loose due to the great force of machine. As a result, the machine’s screws shall be fastened in a regular manner.

2. Remember to timely change the lubricant for the fine jaw crusher. After a period of use, the lubrication effect will get worse. The accumulated debris falling off the machine will also increase the wear and tear of the parts, so the lubricant shall be replaced after a period of use. Moreover, the internal part needs to be cleaned thoroughly by the kerosene so as to prevent the jaw crusher from abrasion caused by the debris. 

3. Keep the internal part of crusher machine cool. During the operation, the fine jaw crusher may be damaged since a large quantity of heat is produced due to the friction.  The high temperature will easily cause deformation of machine axis. It is strongly suggested to stop the machine timely if the internal part is found too hot. 

4. Pick out the iron pieces and other impurities from the raw materials before crushing. Otherwise, the impurities will destroy the jaw of fine jaw crusher, resulting in damage to the machine. 

5. Feed the raw materials in a uniform manner, which will prevent the machine from the damage due to overload of materials. Generally, the vibrating feeder is adopted in the stone production line. Through uniform and stable feeding, it can ensure the smooth operation process.
