M-sand (artificial sand), together with other gravel aggregates, are the basic materials for road construction such as railways and highways. It plays an important role in the smooth progress of domestic infrastructure area. In recent years, it is quite uncommon for China Railway companies to invest sand making plants for production of manufactured sand, which will be consumed by their own construction projects. Today, we would like to introduce a 300tph sand making plant of China Railway No.2 Group in detail.The plant will enter into operation soon in Chongqing, a major city in southwest China.

As the sole contractor, Zhongyu Dingli is responsible for offering solution design, equipment manufacturing, installation & commissioning for the sand making plant. This project started on November 10, 2017 and will be completed on January 15, 2018. With limestone as raw material, this plant is expected to supply quality stone and sand materials to the project in Chongqing with the daily output of 3000 ton.

Based on actual requirements of the entrusting party, local topographic conditions and quality of processing materials, the equipment configured on the production line includes ZG1238 vibrating feeder, PCZ1512 heavy hammer crusher, ZSJ1213 sand making machine and 3 sets of 2YK2470 vibrating screen. Among them, sand making machine directly affect the grain size and quality of the manufactured sand.

The sand making machine applied in the sand making plant has following features:

Firstly, designed with double feeding ports and double rotors, it can ensure that the crushed materials are evenly distributed in the best crushing position.

Secondly, during the operation, there is little direct contact between the stone and the main working parts, which greatly prolongs the service life of hammers.

Lastly, the grain size and granularity of M-sand can totally meet the high standards for the railway construction.
