Construction aggregates is the discrete material working as the filling and supporting parts in concrete. Construction aggregates has many size and specifications for different customers’ demand. normally, aggregates has coarse and fine types that more than 4.75mm of macadam and cobble is called coarse aggregates and less than 4.75mm fine of natural sand is called fine aggregates. Coarse aggregates are the supporting materials in concrete with the common type of macadam and cobble. These materials have coarse shape, huge adhesion, average and sturdy size, higher cleanness, and larger strength. Cobble is generally used in the concrete making with higher requirements. But cobble or macadam is decided by supply ability and resources.

Fine aggregates are discrete materials with small size of river sand, mountain sand, sea sand, and artificial sand. Among them, river sand has clean and small surface and the concrete material made by river sand will have better flexibility. Mountain sand has coarse shape and better adhesion by mixing with cement. Sea sand will erode concrete and is seldom used in concrete making. Artificial sand is made by sand maker after crushing, screening, and washing. So that artificial sand has better flexibility and material supporting ability. However the sturdiness of artificial sand is worse than river sand, so that artificial sand should use added materials for controlling crushing rates and powder proportion.
