Major Factors that Affect Grinding Efficiency of Crusher
With maximum feed size of 1600mm, heavy-duty hammer crusher is mainly suitable for middle-hard materials with the compressive strength not exceeding 200Mpa, such as limestone, coal slag, gangue and bluestone.
The operation principle of heavy-duty hammer crusher is as follows: after entering into crushing chamber, the bulk materials are crushed with the vibratory motor driving the hammers to rotate at high speed. Then the qualified materials are discharged from the outlet and unqualified part continues to stay in the chamber for repeated crushing.
Major factors that affect grinding efficiency of crusher

1. Contact area. The materials will suffer stronger crushing force by contacting more with the hammers.
2. Feed size. Before purchase of heavy hammer crusher, we should refer to the size of raw materials. With smaller size, the materials can be grinded much better.
3. Strength of materials. The materials with smaller strength can be easily crushed and grinded without causing much abrasion of the hammers.
4. Quality of machine. The quality crusher will have durable hammers and sound grinding effect.
5. Feed opening size. With large feed opening size, the crusher will grind more materials at a time.
In summary, the grinding efficiency of heavy hammer crusher is directly linked with materials and equipment quality. During the operation, we should carry out regular maintenance so as to extend its service life.
