There are various types of heavy crushers with different operation principles and applications. We would like to introduce several common types and their applications.

Heavy hammer crusher is the most important for crushing stone in the limestone production line. In the production line for crushing bulk limestone, at least two sets of crushers are required in order to produce the finished material in line with requirements of customers. The heavy hammer crusher manufactured by Dingli is generally for primary crushing while the small hammer crusher is used for stone shaping.

Jaw crusher is usually applied for primary and secondary crushing. The applied material has relatively high hardness, such as cobble with Mohs hardness of 7. With laminating operation principle, it produces the stone with sound and uniform shape. Normally jaw crusher combines with impact crusher to complete a production line for limestone crushing.

Impact crusher utilizes its high-speed board hammer to crush materials with the hardness not exceeding 350MPA. It is usually applied for fine crushing in the stone production line.

In summary, the hammer crusher is better than jaw crusher and impact crusher since it can greatly reduce the equipment investment and simplify the production process with high efficiency and large reduction ratio.
