1. Regular maintenance. Like all other machine, stone jaw crusher also requires regular maintenance. After long-term working in crude condition, the coupling components and bolts will become loosen due to the impact and vibration caused in the operation.

2. Feed quantity control. Avoid feed too much or little. Excessive feed will accelerate abrasion and damage of equipment while insufficient feed will reduce production efficiency.

3. Material impurities. Each stone crusher has specific processing capability. Too hard material will cause severe damage and abrasion, so we should choose the crushing equipment according to material quality. Meanwhile, the impurities should be first picked up before the materials are fed into stone crusher.

4. Lubricating system. Some parts of jaw crusher keep continuous running during operation, therefore, the lubricating oil shall be added in order to maintain steady working of the equipment. Besides, the debris and impurities falling in the oil will also increase abrasion of equipment, so it is advised to timely change the grease of lubricating system.

5. Internal temperature. A lot of heat will be produced during operation of jaw crusher. If not timely and effectively exhausted, the internal temperature will cause damage or distortion of bearing.
