Tailing and construction waste are the top causes for national pollution. While, what is tailing? It is the product with little useful material after the minor constituent and beimetal has been recycled from the ore.

In real life, mining tailing often occupies much land, what’s worse, in windy season, the small particles will be blown into the air, causing environmental pollution. In the following, we will introduce the main methods for overall utilization of tailing.

1. Adopt advanced and reasonable technology to reprocess the tailing for full recycle of the valuable component;

2. Used for making cement, concrete, glass, ceramsite, foundry stone, ceramic bricks and other products.

3. Through screening process, coarse tailing can be used to fill goaf in the pit while fine particles are stockpiled for further application.

4. Used as land reclamation material for planting tree and grain.

5. Applied for railway, road, and antiskid materials.

6. Most concentration plants prefer to store it in the specific warehouse.

The above are common methods for utilization of tailings. We could develop more reasonable ways in future practice. Only by doing so, we can transfer the tailings into useful material in a real sense.
