1.Airspeed influences for the equipment

The filtration airspeed matters a lot for the equipment. High speed can reduce filtration area and volume, but it will also reduce the filtering efficiency and increase the difficulty for dust collection. Besides, it will increase the filtration resistance and reduces service of the filter. So it is important to set a reasonable airspeed.

2. Increase filter airspeed

Under the same airflow, increasing filtration speed can save filtering materials and improve their handling capacity. However, high speed will increase equipment drag force, energy consumption and operating cost. What’s worse, it may block filtration hole by compacting the dust of filter bag. Due to too large pressure difference between two sides of the filter bag, fine dust may easily penetrate into or through the material, which seriously affects the filtration effect.

3. Reduce filter airspeed

The dust collector generally has high efficiency under low filtration speed. However, it will require large bag area and increase occupation & investment cost. For collecting fine dust with high temperature, large density and much humidity, the filter shall be set with relatively low filtration speed.
