Introduction

Calcite is a kind of ordinary natural calcium in various shapes; it can be a cluster of crystal or shaped as grain, bulk, fiber, bell emulsion, and soil. Once striking the calcite, it can obtain many square pieces, which is the origin of its name. It is widely used in industry sectors such as plastics, painting, rubber, papermaking, binder, and sealant after being processed. Calcite is a kind of widely-distributed mineral. It can be used in real construction after being processed by the crushing equipment. The common configuration of 1000-1200t/h calcite production line is detailed as follows.

Process

After being blast from the mountain, the calcite stone less than 1200mm is sent into the vibrating feeder by dumper and then evenly fed into heavy hammer crusher for primary crushing. The large blocks coming out of the heavy hammer crusher will be conveyed to the next crusher for secondary crushing and shaping. After being screened and graded by the circular vibrating screen, the block materials with unqualified size will be returned to the secondary crusher for re-crushing while the finished materials are conveyed to the Finished Product Area.

With the compressive strength of about 150Mpa, calcite is a kind of soft rock; therefore, it is an economical and reasonable technique to adopt the two heavy hammer crushers to form a closed circuit for crushing twice in the calcite production line.
